EURAVON Final Conference
Final Conference of Euravon Project which is coordinate by Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University and co-funded by European Union Erasmus + Programme realized on 9 November 2016 in Ankara, Çukurambar Holiday Inn Hotel . In the opening speech, Prof. Dr . Metin Doğan, the rector of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University express the appreciation and convey his thanks to coordination team and the project partners. Then, as a general overview of EURAVON, the project coordinator Dr. Abdülkadir Hızıroğlu mentioned about the outcomes of the project which is conducted by Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University with the partnership of ÇASGEM and UBITED from Turkey, Inter Projects and Marie Curie Association from Bulgaria , IKME from Cyprus , Edos Foundation from Netherlands . Also , Dr . Hızıroğlu declared that , Euravon Project aims to create a systematic tool for monitoring, recognition and certification of key transversal competencies acquired via non-formal and informal learning during voluntary service experiences, which also enables the transfer of EU mobility in that sector and gave some advices to young volunteers. Later on, the project partners make presentations about volunteerism current situation at their country. And the final conference finished by the interactive panels with young volunteers from various universities & schools. At the end of the conference , participants from Turkey , Bulgaria , Cyprus , Romania and Poland reflect their pleasure about EURAVON system which is available at euravon.ybu.edu.tr and express their thanks to all project team.

EURAVON (European System for Recognition And Validation Of Non-formal & Informal Youth Learning Deriving From Voluntary Civil Service) is a EC funded project, under the Erasmus+ programme (KA2- Strategic Partnership for Youth), which will be completed by 7 partners from 4 different countries, namely Turkey, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Netherlands.
EURAVON aims to create a systematic tool for monitoring, recognition and certification of key transversal competencies acquired via non-formal and informal learning during voluntary service experiences, which also enables the transfer of EU mobility in that sector.
